Rajma a well known grain by north indians, which is very healthy and nutrious grain for diabetics and high blood pressure. The taste is also good, so friends try to add this grain to ur meal atleast once a month.
Ingredients
Rajma -100gms
Jeera powder - 1tsp
Pepper powder- 1tsp
Garam masala - optional
Ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
Karipatha & coriander leaves
Method
Soak rajma overnight, and pressure steam it. Nicely drain water and keep aside. To the drained water add jeera powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala and salt.
Heat oil in the pan, add fennel seeds, karipatha, and pour the mixture. Bring it to boil and add coriander leaves.

Tomato Soup
Tomato soup well known to all, mainly during this summer season when the tomato prices are very cheap, this simple soup goes well with all dishes, its good and healthy dish for kids at all age groups.
Ingredients
Tomato - 4Nos (big)
Coconut - Two large pieces
Fennel seeds -11/2 tsp
Pepper -1tsp
Small onions - 4nos
Ginger garlic paste
Karipatha & coriander leaves
Method
Boil tomatoes, and remove the skin (don’t pour down the boiled water). Blend the tomatoes and keep aside, grind coconut, fennel seeds and pepper. Add the ginger garlic paste, required amt of salt, and turmeric powder to the tomato soup.
Heat oil in the pan, fry with sombu, small onions, green chilies and karipatha, now pour the soup in the pan, bring to boil and finally add coriander leaves.
