Karamani usili this is a south Indian dish loved by all tamilians, mostly Brahmins, the first time when I tasted this dish, I really loved it, and asked my mom to teach me, so I have tried this, and so friend’s u can also taste this.
Ingredients
Long Beans - 150gms
Thoor dhal - 100gms
Dry chilly - 3 nos
Turmeric powder
Pinch of Hing
Salt to taste
Oil for fry
Preparation
Boil long beans with salt and turmeric powder.
Soak thoor dhal in water for two hours.
Drain and grind thoor dhal with dry chilly.
Heat oil, add mustard seeds and hing, now drop the grinded dhal, fry it till the water is completely dry, now add the boiled beans and fry for some time and serve.
